In many buildings, there are extras you might consider adding to your wish list, such as:

  • Extra storage for free during a certain time of year
  • Instead of free rent in your first year, you could take the free rent over the course of the lease during the months with the lowest revenue
  • Free covered/underground parking
  • Parking spaces outside your door assigned to your firm
  • Landlord to pay for your signage
  • If another tenant moves out and has a great reception desk, ask to have it moved into your offices
  • Use of  freight elevator for free if the landlord normally charges for it
  • Use of conference room
  • Use of fitness center for free
  • Use lobby for company party
  • Use of furniture left behind by another tenant

It can’t hurt to ask!
