Women’s Day

Women’s Day

When I opened Compass Commercial in 2010, my goal was to provide a safe space for women and minorities to work. I joined ITRA Global because it is unusual to find women in Commercial Real Estate, much less to find them owning the business.

I remember taking Marilyn Nix, from Real Estate Executive at General Motors, to an ITRA function early on in my partnership. She looked around the room, turned to me and asked, “Why are there so many wives in the room?” She had never, in her career, seen women owning commercial real estate businesses.

Today, International Women’s Day 2018, I am proud to be one of the nine women business owners that represent 25% of the ITRA Global Partners worldwide.
