Lynn Drake’s Perspective on Merger

“Exclusively Representing Tenants and Buyers of Commercial Real Estate”

LYNN DRAKE'S PERSPECTIVE ON MERGER

Press Release

“While the acquisition of DTZ and Cassidy Turley by an investment consortium results in a much larger commercial real estate firm with considerably more services and capabilities, it also brings up a concern for commercial tenants. And that concern is the new DTZ company will no longer solely represent those tenants’ interests,” said Lynn Drake, a 20-plus year industry veteran and president of Compass Commercial, LLC/ITRA Global in Troy, Michigan. Drake, a former DTZ employee, added, “More than ever, we find that commercial tenants need professional guidance as they come to the market looking for new space, expansion and relocation services, or even need assistance in negotiating leases that will look toward their future growth and their bottom line.” Drake’s firm specializes in all phases of tenant-only representation for local and national clients, which allows them to help both entrepreneurs and corporate executives identify the right space at the right cost.
